No news about Japan

I'd really like to give you some news about Japan, but right now, all I see is black, I'm in the land I always wanted to be in, and everything is dark. I can't breathe, I can hardly eat, I really don't feel like writing anything about Japan here.

Worst timing

So I'm finally in Japan, and I feel like shit.
It's Christmas,  in Japan Christmas is the couples holiday, but I'm now officially not par of this group anymore.
I hope I can get over this shit soon or it's gonna be the worst period of my life.

2 days left

That's right, there's only 2 days left before I leave... It's kinda crazy right now with everyone trying to do something with me... my luggage are still not done, but should be finished by noon tomorrow. I'm leaving most of my stuff at a friend's house, 17 boxes (thanks Mat). There's still a bunch of stuff left around here, that I don't know if I'll bring or not... 2 luggae if more than enought when you're visiting, but when you're moving it's a whole different story.

On another note, I'll be doing some time from my old work while in Japan, so that's an unexpected income that is gonna help greatly!

plan for the next 3 days:
friday:
  • last laundry and finishing of luggage packing
  • last dinner with old coworkers
  • trip to shop to buy some everyday stuff (shampoo, razors, etc)
  • moving of last boxes/bags
  • moving of furniture
  • advance Christmas party with family
Saturday:
  • finishing of anything that I didnt have time to finish the day before (I'm expecting some bags/box may remain)
  • Jiyu&Aura's wedding
Sunday:
  • get to the airport
  • Leave!
I don't know if I'll post again before leaving.

Job hunt... still on...

Apparently I didn't have what it takes for this one... not too surprised, but still sucks.
I'll try again, getting something in IT would be more interesting anyway...

This is what I'm good at.

Leaving soon... sigh

I'm... a little more than 2 weeks away from my departure to Japan... and I'm not happy.
I'm probably at my lowest in years.
I'm closing on on a dream, but somehow I still can't see it, my world is darkened by that 1 thing that's going bad...
I think I could become millionaire right now and I'd still feel like shit...
And it's not that bad... I guess if you watch it from the outside, I'm not sick or anything... but I can barely gather enough motivation to breath and eat right now...
stupid brain.
I know I should stop caring about this... I know it's my big dream coming up, so why care avout something like this?
But I can't stop thinking about it, I can't sleep, everything tastes bad.
...

answer me...

Update on the apartment and job hunt.

I decided to go with an apartment, because the shared house are just too expensive for the difference in privacy and convenience. Unfortunately, I waiting too long after my first choice so it's already taken. After that I found another Interesting one, and really cheap too. So I quickly wrote to the guy to tell him I was reserving it, unfortunately, due to his slow answers, and probably to his colleagues faster answers, someone else got it first. Now I ust looking at all apartments again from scratch *sigh* It's boring and takes so much time. At least if I was there I could see them, feel the place, but doing it just from pictures and description isn't that convenient.

The job hunt however is going well. I'm at the second Interview now, so if I don't mess up I should secure it.

The apartment and job hunt is open

In about one month I'm leaving Canada, to go live in japan, for a period of a minimum 6 month, and we'll see how long I can manage to stay after this.
1 month goes by very quickly. So I started searching for an apartment and a job.
After looking up at about 500 apartment/shared house/guest house I think I have settled on a nice, and not too expensive apartment near Nakano. While not being Akihabara, Nakano is still a really nice place, with the Nakano Broadway, containing a lot of Otaku shops (most of which are Madarake). It's also one of the stations on the Yamanote line, meaning I can reach any important station quite easily.

The biggest problem I was facing is; an apartment in Tokyo is expensive, and while I do have a lot of money to back me up, in case I can't get a job, it would be safer to just get a shared house at first.
I also found one that was interesting, 10 minutes from Akihabara, one of the cheapest. However when I contacted them, the real price was actually 10000 yen more expensive than advertised., putting it's price too close to the price of the apartment. The little savings were not worth the drop in life quality implied by a shared house.

While I was searching for apartments, I also stumbled upon an advertisement for an English teaching school in japan, looking for instructors. The school is called Gaba, offer really flexible schedules, a relatively good pay. I applied and they answered me, asked for more information. I sent this yesterday night, so now I'm waiting for an update on this.
If this goes well, and they take me, that would make the whole waiting process a lot less stressful.

More updates coming soon!

Visa Get!

Hi everyone!
I just came back from Montreal, and I got my Visa, so now there' nothing left but to way for the day I leave!

For those who may be wondering:
The process was painless, and overall I was more stressed than I should have been, it's been pretty easy.
The visa I got is the Working-holiday visa though, maximum I can stay with this is one year. If I want to stay longer after this I'll need to get a work visa, or immigrate, that's a whole different story though.

First part of my visa application process and new blog

Hello everyone! First thing, today I went to the Consulate General Of Japan at Montreal to deliver all the needed paperwork for my visa application. I was a really stressful week, getting all this together, not being sure if everything was alright. The process went well though, everyone was really nice.
So all went well and Now I'm waiting for my visa next week, until something goes wrong!
I'm still kinda nervous, can't wait to get it! then it'll only be a question of time before I'm in Japan.

In other news, I'm gonna split this blog in two and bring all the french posts into another blog. I'll post the address later when it's ready.

Steins;Gate

Hi everyone.
Today I'm gonna talk to you about an out of date topic: "Steins;Gate".
Steins;Gate started as a Visual Novel from the compagnies 5bp. and  Nitro+.
It was made into an anime in fall 2011 (one year ago!).
I watched it in the last 4 days.
I'm late getting into it but I wanted to watch Chaos;Head before (same creators). I shouldn't have waited. While Chaos;Head isn't as bad as the critics says, it's not that great and doesn't have any direct link to Steins;Gate.

The story of Steins;Gate is really complex, but the basis is this: A guy can alter time.
Everything beyond this would spoil the fun.
I,ll talk about the anime only here because I only just started the game and didn't play enough to have any opinion about it.

You know if I talk about an Anime here, it's because it touched me. Either because it made me really mad (I'm looking at you toradora) or because this is the greates thing ever.
Well this anime is now in my number 1 spot of my favorite anime.

First thing that made me want to watch it was the character design, especially Makise Kurisu.
This figure is actually what made me want to watch it at first.
The Anime is all about time travel and it's effect/consequence. So of course it revolve all around character development. The story is very nicely build, with references to real life events and organisations. The music is also great. I've listened to the opening song over and over and over.

The story is kinda calm and somewhat funny until episode 9, where it start to get a lot more serious. By episode 12, it's a non-stop emotion filled journey to the end.

I really enjoyed every bit of this anime, all the characters are interesting, even the side character.
you can really feel the emotion of the main character, and feel his despair when things get bad.

One part near the end actually made me smile because they seem to have inspired themselves from Chrono Trigger for a certain part. I won't get into details here about it because it would be a very big spoiler.

I give this Anime 10/10, placing it at the top of my ranking, above the Haruhi movie , evangelion and Season 2 of Code Geass.

I can't wait for the Movie!

Big News!

Hello everyone! This is a really big news, well relativly big... it's a pretty big news to me anyway!
Many actually already know this, but I'm moving to Japan in December.
I'm going to stay there. Sleep, eat, work... live in Japan.
For how long? Well the easy answer is "at least 6 month" which is the time allowed with the "Working Holiday" visa's first period. It's extensible to 1 year, which I'll try to do. And by then I hope I will have find a way to get a real work visa or "another mean" of staying there.

This is a huge step and it is actually scary. I do know some japanese, but I'm not fluent. I'm going there with enought money to back me up for 6 month without a job though, so I'm pretty sure I'll be ok.

I'm nervous, there's less than 3 months before I go, I can't wait!

This blog will probably also be more active once I'm there, because I'll be really close to the doujin scene, and my interest in general. You'll all be able to follow my struggling to get used to the Japanese way of life!

Of course I'll miss my life here, especially my friends, but really I'm mostly always in my room on the internet anyway so it will not be that much of a change! hehe.

Apple vs Everyone, #boycottapple

So for those of you who didn't follow this up till now, Apple is suing everyone for patent infringement and everyone is suing Apple back in a defensive manner.
The biggest one right now is SamsungVSApple which led to a 1 billion decision for Apple.
I wont enter into much details about what patent were seen as infringed and which one were not, but I don't understand how a jury can say Apple invented icons, when my old Motorola pebble already had icons...

Anyway, giving this kind of trial to a jury made of random people who apparently know nothing about technology was a bad idea in my opinion. Apple is viewed as a great innovator by people who ignore they never innovated in anything, they are just really really good marketers. I don,t think any jury could be made of people who don't have a biased opinion on this.

Anyway I really hope Google success in his trial with Motorola's patent to ban the ipod/ipad from the US just so they taste their own medicine. But what I really want, like most people, is a patent reform of course. The patent system in the Us right now is really flawed, and has been abused on numerous occasions by patent trolls.

As a sing of disagreement with the way Apple conduct it's business I will boycott their product starting now, and this will start by me finding an alternative to iTunes, and selling my Macbook Pro.
Suggestions on what computer and what software I should use to replace them are welcome.

More pictures from Japan!

Feeling better today so here's the picture Nanae took while I was in Japan.
Pictures of Fuji-Q Highland
Pictures from Akihabara, Ikebukuro, Ginza and Shinbashi with Nanae and Aya
There's still a little pictures left, thos from BenPi from the last days. But overall that pretty much concludes anything about that trip...
Now it sure wont be my last blogging with pictures from Japan... There will be a lot more in 2013!

More Japan pic... oh wait no

I finally got the pictures from Fuji-Q Highland, but I feel so down right now that I don't feel like posting them.

Random update

Hi people, nothing exciting to say, but I tough I'd do a lil update here...
I'm fucking bored lately, I really miss my girlfriend in Japan, and I don't feel like doing anything.
I'm going there before Christmas, that's all I know for sure (well today the date for the new Evangelion movie got out so I wanna go for November 17th if possible).
I hate summer, it's too hot and humid, I wan't a Cirno.

Nexus 7 looked really nice, Jelly Bean looks awesome, but I decided not to get it because... I really don't need a tablet.

I didn't check last Reitaisai yet, but Comiket is coming so I'll at least try to check this one up and post here as usual.

That's all folks.

Last days in Tokyo, return to the Normal life

Sorry for the Silence, but I was enjoying time with my love, and I was kinda tired of writing.

Last day before My girlfriend got back in japan, we went to Asakusa, and finished our shopping in Akiba. I don't have the pictures yet, sorry.

So the day after, Nanae got in Japan, I met her in the morning, really really early, and spent a little time with her, then we met with BenPi. We went to Akiba, played some arcades, when to Shinjuku to pay for the bus trip for the day after, then went to Shibuya to see the huge crossing. We also had a taste of the Japanese Otaku culture, girl side, as Nanae showed us Otome Road, in Ikebukuro.

We finished that day In Ginza by meeting with one Of Nanae's friend.

The day after we went to Fuji-Q Highland, It's an amusement park near to mount Fuji. The reason I really wanted to go there is because that's the place where there is the life size Evangelion unit 1 head and entry plug. We took a couple of pics there, it's pretty nice. After that we did some roller coaster... Nanae went alone is the one that has the steepest drop in the world... it's actually reversed, and does a lot of loops, I don't like this kinds of things so much... it actually scare me a lot.
We also went to their haunted house, which is supposed to be very very scary.... well it was a little I guess... Nanae was terrified, but as for me... anyways, I mostly went there to see Nanae's reaction... sorry.

The day after I went alone to Nanae's house to met her mom.
For my future to be happy, It had to be a good meeting, and I think it went well.
After that we went to the Karaoke! 3 hours of Karaoke, it was interesting, but unfortunately, all Japanese songs have only kanji lyrics so BenPi could only do English song, as for me I was able to do just a couple of songs I knew enough, and very slow ones that I was able to follow (Atashi Marisa was easy to read). Nanae if course had no problem with this, since well, it's even easier if it's in Japanese for her, so she sang a couple of songs, and danced on the sofa there. I got some pics and videos that I will upload later.
After the Karaoke went around Akiba the 3 together.

Saturday we went to a cosplay event in some small amusement park close to Ikebukuro. It was my first time in a small cosplay event in Japan. This has nothing in common with anime conventions or Comiket. It's a little like the cosplay day at L'Imaginaire in Quebec, but without the shop. It was an interesting experience, I think I prefer Canada's cosplay event (conventions mostly) because people seem to have a tendency to speak more to each others. But according to Nanae, since the area was so big, and there was not so many people, it's usually not like this... well maybe I'll see next year. We took a couple of pictures of cosplays, we got the permission of everyone to post them on the Internet. except one, that I will not upload, obviously. The To Aru group and K-On group were really nice. The K-On groups gave us K-ON chips, no idea why, but Thanks!

After that we Went to eat sukiyaki, then we said bye to BenPi for the night, to spend one last night with my love before returning to Quebec.

Sunday we cleaned the apartment, then went to the airport, said Good-Bye to Nanae. Sad time, Some tears, then the FUCKING plane...
I hate planes, especially going to japan. 13 hours cramped in a seat built for midgets.
Then the customs in Detroit... I kinda hate the united states now, so fucking paranoid, and especially after leaving japan where everyone is always so kind and respectful, getting to see the stupid asshole face of the custom guy at Detroit got me in a bad mood for at least an Hour. I'll pick Air Canada for sure next time.

And now I'm back at my house. I miss My girlfriend, I miss Japan, I think my bed is way too fucking big, but at least it's a lot more comfortable than the one we had in japan.

That pretty much sums up everything. Pics will be posted later, and I'll probably update the old albums with better or modified pics later, I'll post about it I guess.

Thanks for following me, during my trip, my blog reached an average of like 40-80 person per day where there was a new post, peak being at 112. I'm really impressed.

Lucky Star City and the Tokyo Tower

So today we went to Washimiya, the city in which the shrine you can see in the opening of Lucky Star is. The city is proud of it and there's a lot of Lucky Star stuff everywhere.

It's my second time there. I didn't speak about it in my blog last time maybe, but last time I went, it was so fucking hot, like really really hot and humid, and I was really hungry, and unable to find a restaurant, and someone from a random shop helped me. So this time I went back and brought them a gift, Canada's maple syrup to thank them!
They we're happy, I'm not sure if they understood everything but it was funny.

Pics are here: https://plus.google.com/photos/109767154943043622747/albums/5742369968559643649

After coming back from there, we went to the Tokyo Tower, nothing much to say, it's a tower, I've been before, pics are here: https://plus.google.com/photos/109767154943043622747/albums/5742373172269968673

Flowering Night 2012!

Hello everyone, this post will be more like the usuall post from this blog used to be, it means it's about Doujin music!

Today was Flowering Night 2012, day 2! So there was 5 band playing today, Opening the show was, My favorite band, Kimino-Museum ( 君の美術館 ) They did a very good performance, even if Cherose was not there. They mainly did the song which only girls sing, except for the last song. Satoshi did a good job singing it, but of course it's not as good as with Cherose... whatever.

Next was Sound of Swing, which is a Jazz band. I don't really like Jazz, I don't like to listen to Jazz, but I can always enjoy seeing the Jazz musician playing, they are really skilled, and it was the case for SOS.

Next was Kairo, it's also the second time I saw them I think. Their signer is really weird, but she has a cute voice. Most band (read all except Kairo) loves to talk a LOT between songs in japan, but Kairo did just a non stop music performance, and this is also a band I like, and it was great.

The speaking the bands do between their song seems like something nice, a way to get close to their audience, but for us who don't understand Japanese so much, it's not so much interesting, but I understand this practice.

After Kairo was 岸田教団&THE明星ロケッツ (KISIDA KYODAN & THE AKEBOSI ROCKETS)
I didn't recognize this bad at first, because the name was in kanji, but it was clearly the most popular band there.  (when I came back home I went to their website and noticed I knew them and actually bought their last CD at M3). Good performance, but I don't like how their signer act on stage. She however has a good voice and the rest of the band has a really good stage presence. There was a mush pit beside me... but a Japanese mush pit can't move me so it stopped at me.

The final band was TaNaBaTa, Good performance too, I especially liked their version of cirno's song when he asked the crowd to sing "chiruno, chiruno, chiruno" while waving their towel it was a 'Refreshing' moment, in this very hot and smelly concert hall.

After this there was an encore, 1 song by TaNaBaTa, and then all the bands got on the stage for the final thanks.

It was a really good show overall, my only 2 disappointing moments were that Cherose was not there, and that, when fi-fy was just beside me I couldn't speak to her because of my lack of Japanese skills.

Back to Akiba

So we're back from our week in the west. The last 2 days were spent in Osaka and Kyoto.
In Osaka we walked around DenDen Town a little, unfortunately we were too early, and everything was closed, we waited a little to visit some shops then left to Kyoto. While there we spent a lot of money on a stupid UFO catcher... "this one will be easy" ... sigh.
For those who don'T know, DenDen Town is like Osaka's Akihabara, but a lot less impressive.

Once in Kyoto, we went to the Kinkakuji (Golden pavillion) it's a really beautiful building, we took a lot of picture. After that we went to eat at Gyuzen, my favorite restaurant from my last trip to Japan, we eat shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, it was delicious.

After that we went back to the hotel, were there was a live performance from a Western concert flute player.

The day after we went to the Nijo castle, that I visited last time, but it's worth seeing it again, especially since BenPi had never seen it. After that we went to see a maiko dance in Gion. After that we took the shinkansen back to Tokyo.

Tonight is flowering night, Woohoo!

The pics from the west will be uploaded soon, there is a lot so it's long to sort.

Version francaise plus tard.

Update from the east's west

Hello everyone here's a little update of our trip in western japan so far.
first we took the shinkansen from Tokyo to Kobe, from there we took the bus to awaji island, then to shikoku island, where we stayed in the renaissance Naruto resort, in Naruto. It's a really nice hotel, we stayed there one night then took the bus back to kobe where we took another bus to tour around the city. We also ate the famous Kobe beef while in Kobe.... it is worth it's reputation. It's the best beef I ever ate in my life.

After visiting Kobe we took a boat to Kyushu. We slept in the boat and accosted in the morning. In kyushu we went to the suginoi hotel in buppu. Another great hotel, and this one is especially famous for it's onsen, but due to a communication problem with our guide, we didn't get to try them, however we still went in the aqua garden, which is like a pool with onsen water. while in kyushu we also visited yufuin and the jigoku meguri (hell hot spring).

We are now on the boat back to kobe to then take the train to osaka where we will continue our travels.

The french version and pictures will come when we reach tokyo.

Upcoming silence

Just a post to warn you that there won't be any uploads of pictures for about a week, and then I don't know when and if I will be able to update this blog for the next week, as we're going in the west and I'm not bringing my laptop with me.
I'll try to take as much not as possible during the trip to be able to give a nice resume when we come back to Tokyo!

Doll Party

So today we went to the volks doll party at tokyo big sight. There was some kind of lottery thing to get the new dolls  but even if I gave him my better number 1081 he couldn't get anything.
While he was waiting I walked around to take some pictures. at 11 I was done, and then I spent the 4:30 most boring hours I ever spent in Japan.
Nothing much to say, if you want more info, ask BenPi, he liked it a lot more than I did.
You owe me one T.T

**

Hot day in Harajuku and Kamata

So I once again went to Harajuku, I looked all around and I was unable to find that supposed place with a lot of lolitas... well whatever, today was the "LETS ALL GO TO HARAJUKU" day it seems. The place was full of people.

We went to the Doll salon for BenPi then we walked around and went to the shrine.

After that we went to Kamata, the stations close to where my beloved Nanae lives. Unfortunately for me, she's in Quebec right now.... but oh well. We ate at the restorant she told us to, apparently it's well know for it's gyoza. After that we went to see the T2 art gallery in the Toranoana there.

We wandered the streets of Kamata a little, checked the anime shops there and came back to the hotel to sleep.

 ***

My birthday in a Maid Cafe and Ueno park

All Maid Cafe are not born equal. I know I've said this last time I came to japan, but it was 2 maid cafe of 2 different companies. Yesterday, for my birthday, we went back to the maid cafe I went, and loved, last time I came to Japan. It's the same company than the one we went 3 days ago, maidreamin. But just a different location. But it's a world of differences! This one was fun and SO CUTE.
I really got my Moe overload. The girls actually paid attention to us, we ate a big curry, which was actually good,  the curry (for 2) also extended our stay by 30 minutes and made us go to the stage to take a picture with all the maids. We also got to see a maid dance and a maid song. This is the kind of Maid Cafe I love!
Oh and since it was my birthday, I got on stage again, everyone wished me happy birthday, and I got a "birthday cake".

After that, since it was sunny, we decided to go to Ueno park. Since it's Golden Week there was a lot of people there. Lots of things were in repair mode, but we still got to see a couple shrines and most of the park.
Near the shrine at the center of the lake, there was some kind of Matsuri, but it started raining when we got there.
We went to the other side of the lake, where there was a small outside theater, to cover ourselves. The music was really bad but it was interesting... I guess.
After that we came back to Akiba and did some more shopping.

Rainy day - Amano art expo and Nakano broadway

Hello everyone! Thanks for following us!
I've never had so many readers before hahaha.

Yesterday we went to the Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D, ...) art exposition in Shinjuku. We took some picture outside, but we couldn't take any pics inside unfortunately.
The Expo was really beautiful, and it was actually an art gallery where you could buy his paintings, the most expensive one was about 2,500,000 yen, which is about 31000$ CAD.
Some people were actually buying stuff so, and they didn't look really rich so... Otaku have a lot of money some time!

After that, since it was raining we went to the Nakano Broadway, which is a big covered street + a big shopping center in Nakano. We saw a lot of Anime goods that we need to go buy during the last week, and BenPi spent quite a lot of time in the Mandarake doll shop (I did the whole floor while he did this shop).
After that we eat sushi at a sushi train, where one of the staff could speak a little french. We had fun trying to ask things in french, she was very nice.
After that we came back home early to the apartment to do some cleaning and await patiently our tickets to the Dolpa and the Flowering Night!

Edo-Tokyon Museum and Akihabara day 3

So we went to the Edo-Tokyo museum. It's a really nice museum, one of the most interesting and impressive I've seen.

When we came back we did the main shops in the second street in Akiba. We went also went to the good smile cafe and we took a lot of picture today, but most of them need to be edited for white balance so they will come much later.

Akihabara day 2

So today we just went walking through Akiba. Our first stop was a really really big store called Yodobashi-Akiba. It took 2 hours to visit it, it's like a future shop, size wise, but 8 stories tall. After getting to the 8th floor, we decided to eat there and ate curry, which to my opinion tasted a little weird.

After eating we continued wandering around Akiba, we did the whole main street today (except the shops we did yesterday). We saw a lot of interesting stuff that we decided we would come back for near the end of the trip, if we still had money.

Around 4pm we were tired of walking, but not so hungry yet so we went to a Maid Cafe.
It was BenPi's first time in a maid cafe. I was somewhat disappointed, it's was not the same than last time, and I think it's not as good. It was still nice and I still had that little moe overdose, but not as much as last time.

After doing the main street, we came back and went to sleep. We didn't eat dinner.

M3 and Akiba day 1

So yesterday we moved from the hotel room from the first day, to the Sakura House in Akihabara. Signing the lease took a lot of time so we got here pretty late. It's kinda small, but it's still at least 4 time bigger than what I had last time

After that we went to M3. We got there pretty late so some of the stuff I wanted was already gone. I however met with IRON CHINO, a really really nice guy. I apologized for not being able to see his live the day before. He said no problem and he gave me a shirt! We bought a lot of cds, met a lot of interesting folks, and I spoke with Miko again! Ahhh… Miko!!!! so cute ^^.

Ahhhh…. Miko!!! Tellement mignonne!

Here's my M3 loot / Voici mon loot du M3:

En revenant nous avons manger des Ramens!
We ate Ramens while coming back!

And After that, we were pretty tired so we only took a small walk into Akihabara, we went to Gamers, a Sega arcade and Animate then we came back to the room and slept.

I still got enough time to flip a table!

Sad news for music

The singer of Kimino-Museum ( 君の美術館), Cherose, left the band.
No announcement of this was made on Kimino-Museum website, and considering my limited knowledge of Japanese I can't understand all of Cherose's tweet. But his name is missing from the staff list on their website, and he was absent from the last DVD and lives too.
Fi-fy also said in the last live "君の美術館はこの1234567八人で" which translate about to "these people here, we are kimino-museum". Of course Cherose was not there anymore.

his profile is still up on the website if you know the address :http://www.kimino-museum.com/pr_cherose.html but he's not on the profile list anymore : http://www.kimino-museum.com/profiles.html

Cherose was one of the main reasons Kimino-museum was son great. His voice is really wonderful and he had a perfect harmony with the girls of the band. Satoshi's singing his songs are really far from being even close to him.

Update about random stuff

Hi everyone, Working on Nadeshicon is taking a lot of my time lately.Don't really have any time for this blog (or any other side project).

So just a simple update to tell you of what have been keeping me entertained lately.

First I discovered a MAD that I really love about a month ago, and I've listened to it over 400 times since discovering it.

About a week ago I discovered something really Awesome!
The dates of Flowering-Night 2012 have been released and I will be in Japan when the festival will happen!
I'm overflowing with joy from this news, and I really can't wait to see it!

Discovering this made me search for videos of last year's show which led me to another awesome discovery, even if they had sound problems which kept them off the 2011 dvd, someone recorded the live stream on nico or something and there is a video available for Kimino-Museum's performance from last year's Flowering-Night!

I'm also gonna use this post to remind everyone that I'll be in japan from April 28 to Mai 20, and I'll update my blog with travel reports like last time, be sure to follow me!

I'm scared

I think this is the first time I really feel this way in my life.
I mean it's not the first time I am scared, but it's the first time my own personal future scares the shit out of me. The first time that every time I try to think about what will happen, I am afraid that everything will crumble and fade away.

I have something to lose now, someone I wanna keep by my side forever... and the road before me, to be able to keep her by my side is dark and filled with  obstacle and stupid laws.

I've lost loved ones before, broke relationships, but it's always been on an instant, or just because I didn't care anymore, there has never really been a time where I was scared of the passing time because it could mean the end of my happiness like that...
I'm so scared of it right now that I can barely sleep anymore...

At least there's a lot of events around here in February to help me forget about it...
oh wait ...
fuck...
Valentine's day....

Winter-Een-Mas 2012 results: Failure

I didn't clear any of my challenges.
I wasn't in the mood for gaming for most of the week.
I think the controls in Skyward sword are a fucking pain in the ass, and too gimmicky.
the only night I actually really gamed was tonight, and while I tried my best to finish touhou 11, I couldn't do it.
Fuck you Orin.

I didn't feel the magic this year.
I guess I also have more on my mind than last year.
