Top 20 Musical shares of 2013 (10-1)

Hello everyone, this is the second part of my top 20 musical shares of the year 2013, Please start with the part one if you didn't watch it first here: top-20-musical-shares-of-2013-20-11

This part will cover number 10 to number 1!
Remember the songs may not be from 2013, and may not be the best song of 2013, but if they are in this list it's because they were really important, or significant for me, or my followers, during 2013.

10 - BABYMETAL - メギツネ - MEGITSUNE

Shared: October  2nd
BABYMETAL got really popular with their first PV in 2012, but their last PV is probably their best song for me, The metal part is really good, and really mixes well with the JPOP that BABYMETAL brings. But what sets this song apart is the Japanese feeling mixing with all this, with the Japanese instrument, the Matsuri chants and the Kagome, Kagome arranging.

9 - Rainbow Jakkajan

Shared: july 29th
This is a MAD from 2010, but I've linked to it, and played it so many times during the year it's hard not to include it here. It's perfectly made and so addicting! You can let it loop forever on niconico and never get tired of it!

8 - Foreverpandering - Hanako.mp3 (Brandon Laniog Remix)

Shared: October 22
Katawa Shoujo had a huge impact on my life in 2013, and this is the best arrange of it that I have found. It's pretty good, but a lot more funny if you know the game!

7 - すたこらごらく部 (Yuru Yuri MAD)

Shared: November 20
Yuru Yuri was another series that had a huge impact on me this year, After seeing a lot of reference to it everywhere in Akiba and other Otaku spots, I got curious, watched it and literally fell in love with it.
This is the best MAD of Yuru Yuri, it also loops really well! Though if you get out of the loop there's an extra part for Himawari&Sakurako fans!

6 - ココロオカリン【Steins;Gate】

Shared: April 2nd
With the movie coming out in the cinema this year, and the bluray also coming out, this was kinda a Steins;Gate years, and this MAD, is probably the best Steins;Gate MAD (or probably the best MAD all around)

5 - Courage to tell a lie

Shared: November 18
the Monogatari Series probably had the strongest emotional moment of the year, one of the best Anime episode ever, all Anime included, and I won't go into spoilers, but yeah, once you've seen this episode, watching, and listening to this song will bring tears to your eyes....
Mayoi-chan (o;TωT)o

4 - 'U.N. Owen Was Her?' Acapella

Shared: April 29
This year, the internet elevated Smooth McGroove to the status of Legend, and there's a good reason for it. His videos are awesome, I decided not to include more than one inside my top 20, and I Included the best of them here. If you don't know him yet, check out his other videos too, this guy is Epic!

3 - EastNewSound - Dear me!

Shared: May 21
This is, for me, the best Song out of the Doujin Scene this year. I love this song so much!
There isn't much to say about it more than that, just listen to it!

2 - ももいろクローバーZ -  猛烈宇宙交響曲・第七楽章「無限の愛」

Shared: So many times
This is simply the best Anime Opening ever, and also one of my Favourite song ever. Unfortunately, the company behind Momokuro is really aggressive on DMCA takedowns so it's actually pretty hard to keep one of these videos up, I would have preferred to link to the Live version here, that I have already linked to in the past on this blog, but it's been taken down.
Enjoy the OP clean!

1 - なんつってっつっちゃった (Glitch Hop Mashup)

Shared: all the time implicitly
Most people of G+ should have felt this coming for a while now. This was the most memorable music share of the year simply because It was stuck in my head for half of the year, We posted it over and over and over again. I personally don't mind because I really love the song!
Thanks to +Bryan Tsang and +Sandy Whitmore (and lately +Dayne Close too) for sharing, and reacting to this sentence/song in 2013, you made me laught and smile a lot!

That's it for 2013 in Music!
More tops will come as soon as I can!

Back from Hiatus, part 1 - Comiket 84 report

Why did I stop writing? I don't exactly know, I got fed up with it, and with my life in general I guess, maybe the lack of money hit me mentally and stopped me from writing? I don't know.
It's not like I didn't have anything to talk about, a bunch of stuff happened in the last 2 months.... oh well, I'll do a couple post about what happened ion the last 2 months and start posting again, hopefully regularly...

Comiket 84 report:

So last time I wrote was just after comiket, so here's a very late, and very short report (since I forgot a lot of what happened)

Day 1:

So during day 1, I decided to try and go buy something at the corporate booth. We started with Shaft...
Reaching the Shaft line took 1:45, then we waited in that unmoving line for more than 2 hours, under the burning sun, in the hottest day of this summer, which broke heat records. I tried to stay hydrated, but I failed, I almost fainted, I had to bail out, fortunately my friend, which can handle the heat more than I can, was able to finish the line and get some stuff.
After finishing the Shaft line, my friend came to pick me up where I was resting, and we went around the rest of the corporate booth, everything was pretty much sold out at that point though. And we were so tired we didn't actually look around for real, so we decided to call it a day and leave.
Overall Day 1 was not fun.

Here's some picture of hell:

I can't imagine how you could wear a costume like this in that kind of heat. It's suicide!

Day 2:

Day 2 was pretty fun overall, we went to the cosplay area, took a bunch of pictures, and wandered aimlessly while looking around in the doujin area and the corporate booths. We tried to find the KanColle book everyone wanted, but couldn't find it. I found the 5pb. booth however and got myself some awesome loot!

I remember I bought some stuff in the doujin area as well, but I don't remember what.
I don't know if it's always like this, or if's the first year, last time I came I thuygh the cosplay area changed location depending on the day, but now I think the 3 area are always open at the same time... well it was this way this time. We spent quite a while in there so here's my favourite shots:

This one is pretty awesome because it looks like Cirno is melting from the heat

Simply the best girl of Comiket

This girl had the most beautiful smile I have ever seen

Her again

You can see all the pictures from Day 2 here: Summer Comiket 2013 Day 2

On a side note, there was an Itasha and Itabike on the way from the station to the event, and I took some pictures, the bike looked especially nice!

I want that bike

Day 3:

Day 3 was Touhou day, and Doujin music day, so it was shopping day, the first half of the day was us running around circles and getting CDs. I spoke with IRON CHINO, Miko, DJ Noriken, and maybe others, but I forgot. This is the reason why I love Doujin event so much, you get to actually talk to the people who make the stuff you like. It's awesome.
Miko is still Love.

After the shopping I went to see Raide (a guy I met on G+, who worked on Katawa Shoujo) at the Katawa Shoujo booth, spoke with him a little and then went to the cosplay area for more pictures.

Unfortunatly we were there late, and they were about to close, so I couldn't get as much as I wanted, but here are my favourite shots from day 3:

You can see all Comiket Day 3 pictures here: Summer Comiket 2013 Day 3
And that's it for the Comiket report, I apparently didn't take a picture of my loot.
Hope you enjoyed, stay tuned for the part 2 of my what happened during my hiatus!

Steins;Gate

Hi everyone.
Today I'm gonna talk to you about an out of date topic: "Steins;Gate".
Steins;Gate started as a Visual Novel from the compagnies 5bp. and  Nitro+.
It was made into an anime in fall 2011 (one year ago!).
I watched it in the last 4 days.
I'm late getting into it but I wanted to watch Chaos;Head before (same creators). I shouldn't have waited. While Chaos;Head isn't as bad as the critics says, it's not that great and doesn't have any direct link to Steins;Gate.

The story of Steins;Gate is really complex, but the basis is this: A guy can alter time.
Everything beyond this would spoil the fun.
I,ll talk about the anime only here because I only just started the game and didn't play enough to have any opinion about it.

You know if I talk about an Anime here, it's because it touched me. Either because it made me really mad (I'm looking at you toradora) or because this is the greates thing ever.
Well this anime is now in my number 1 spot of my favorite anime.

First thing that made me want to watch it was the character design, especially Makise Kurisu.
This figure is actually what made me want to watch it at first.
The Anime is all about time travel and it's effect/consequence. So of course it revolve all around character development. The story is very nicely build, with references to real life events and organisations. The music is also great. I've listened to the opening song over and over and over.

The story is kinda calm and somewhat funny until episode 9, where it start to get a lot more serious. By episode 12, it's a non-stop emotion filled journey to the end.

I really enjoyed every bit of this anime, all the characters are interesting, even the side character.
you can really feel the emotion of the main character, and feel his despair when things get bad.

One part near the end actually made me smile because they seem to have inspired themselves from Chrono Trigger for a certain part. I won't get into details here about it because it would be a very big spoiler.

I give this Anime 10/10, placing it at the top of my ranking, above the Haruhi movie , evangelion and Season 2 of Code Geass.

I can't wait for the Movie!
