Hello everyone! First thing, today I went to the Consulate General Of Japan at Montreal to deliver all the needed paperwork for my visa application. I was a really stressful week, getting all this together, not being sure if everything was alright. The process went well though, everyone was really nice.
So all went well and Now I'm waiting for my visa next week, until something goes wrong!
I'm still kinda nervous, can't wait to get it! then it'll only be a question of time before I'm in Japan.
In other news, I'm gonna split this blog in two and bring all the french posts into another blog. I'll post the address later when it's ready.

Steins;Gate
Hi everyone.
Today I'm gonna talk to you about an out of date topic: "Steins;Gate".
Steins;Gate started as a Visual Novel from the compagnies 5bp. and Nitro+.
It was made into an anime in fall 2011 (one year ago!).
I watched it in the last 4 days.
I'm late getting into it but I wanted to watch Chaos;Head before (same creators). I shouldn't have waited. While Chaos;Head isn't as bad as the critics says, it's not that great and doesn't have any direct link to Steins;Gate.
The story of Steins;Gate is really complex, but the basis is this: A guy can alter time.
Everything beyond this would spoil the fun.
I,ll talk about the anime only here because I only just started the game and didn't play enough to have any opinion about it.
You know if I talk about an Anime here, it's because it touched me. Either because it made me really mad (I'm looking at you toradora) or because this is the greates thing ever.
Well this anime is now in my number 1 spot of my favorite anime.
First thing that made me want to watch it was the character design, especially Makise Kurisu.
This figure is actually what made me want to watch it at first.
The Anime is all about time travel and it's effect/consequence. So of course it revolve all around character development. The story is very nicely build, with references to real life events and organisations. The music is also great. I've listened to the opening song over and over and over.
The story is kinda calm and somewhat funny until episode 9, where it start to get a lot more serious. By episode 12, it's a non-stop emotion filled journey to the end.
I really enjoyed every bit of this anime, all the characters are interesting, even the side character.
you can really feel the emotion of the main character, and feel his despair when things get bad.
One part near the end actually made me smile because they seem to have inspired themselves from Chrono Trigger for a certain part. I won't get into details here about it because it would be a very big spoiler.
I give this Anime 10/10, placing it at the top of my ranking, above the Haruhi movie , evangelion and Season 2 of Code Geass.
I can't wait for the Movie!
